Many years ago, Theresa and I had an opportunity to see the Giant Sequoia trees in Yosemite Park. The fact that “giant” is included in the name is no joke! Many of these trees are hundreds of feet tall, and some are so thick they’ve carved a tunnel through the trunk so cars can drive right through. Happy Grandparents month! In the month of March, we take the opportunity to honour all our LifeSpringers from the grandparent’s generation. LifeSpring first started meeting in 1981 and was planted by the grandparent’s generation. Last Sunday, we had our Volunteer Appreciation Day, where we had a chance to honor all of you who serve at LifeSpring. There is a saying in churches that it is common for 20% of people to do 80% of the work. This really doesn’t apply at LifeSpring, and we see that Sunday after Sunday. Last Sunday, we had a chance to hear from Pat Koh, who alongside Alvin served as pastors of LifeSpring for many fruitful years.
