Recently, I came across a Bible study, and at first glance, it was uninteresting. I had done similar studies on the topic before, and I wasn’t sure if I’d get anything out of it. However, upon trying it out, there were quite a few points raised that opened it up for discussion, and it did deepen my understanding of the topic.
Upon reflecting on the experience, I felt God remind me to not fall into the trap of familiarity or thinking you know everything. Sometimes we think that because we know a lot, we’ll just hear exactly what we know. However, there’s so much more to learn and see.
So, wherever you’re at in your life, don’t let your knowledge stop you from learning or being curious. There’s always so much more to learn and so much that God can use to speak to you.
