We had the privilege of hearing from Mary Cho, a missionary to Sierra Leone in West Africa. She shared about her adventures and challenges serving in a foreign nation founded on witchcraft while serving and loving those often forgotten. Mary serves at a blind school.
As Mary spoke to the church family, she kept encouraging us that although our lives and surroundings seem so far apart, we were all part of the same body.
In my quiet time this past year, the Lord highlighted a verse that resonated in my spirit:
I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me… as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel… not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only… you sent me aid more than once when I was in need… I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God
Philippians 4:10, 15-18
Paul was so grateful for the support that the Philippians were providing for his missionary work. Paul was vital, but the support was also essential! The Lord put on my heart, “LifeSpringians, be like the Philippians”.
As we sow into our missionaries, please also sow into the mission. Pray for them. Below is a list of our missionaries here at LifeSpring, please take a moment to uplift them in your prayers:

Let us listen well and obey quickly, especially in the area of being blessed to be a blessing, LifeSpringians!
