In 2026, everything we do will be surrounded by our theme of Increase Our Faith.
We must always be aware of what God is doing. In trying to plan an entire year in advance, the Lord convicted me from Revelations 22. It describes,
The river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city.
The Lord asked me, “Was the river made for the street, or was the street made for the river?”
This challenge caused me to reflect and realize that the street was made for the river – to always move to where God is moving and not try to force the river to flow where we ourselves want to build. With this conviction in reflecting over the past year, we look to what and where God has truly blessed and we build towards it.
- Andrew Pubalasingam (Full-Time Associate Pastor)
Andrew Pubalasingam officially joined the LifeSpring pastoral team as a full-time associate pastor on Oct 1, 2025. We are so blessed to have Andrew; he is qualified (MDiv in Counselling), experienced, and, most importantly, he carries the DNA of LifeSpring.
Andrew will be focusing on three areas:
· Wildfire Youth Ministry (Ongoing)
· Young Adult LifeGroup (January 2026)
· Pre-Teen Transition Group (September 2026)
These will be his main assignments, while also operating in a pastoral role (preaching, worship, etc.).
Andrew will also be working part-time at Pathway Counselling in Mississauga where he will be doing his psychotherapy qualifying hours. Personally, I believe having a “side-hustle” on the pastoral team is extremely beneficial. It allows for a secondary income in a very expensive city, while it also keeps the pastoral team grounded into the realities and challenges of the world.
We have realized that there will be tremendous growth in our Wildfire and young adult age groups in the upcoming years. The sudden influx of graduates from Kingdom Kids will overwhelm our current leadership structure. Andrew will become the main anchor while we also shift Andrea’s from a worship focus to a young adult focus.
This is new ground for LifeSpring. This we believe aligns to “Increase Our Faith”!
LifeSpring is truly blessed to have so many gifts (children and young adults). These gifts come with so much joy but at times come with intense headaches! This is no simple task, but as a Kingdom Family, many hands make light work.
Take a moment today to pray for our children and young adults. In a world that is trying to steal, kill, and destroy – let us be fathers and mothers of protection that pray and care for them.
