Dear LifeSpring Family,
This past Sunday, Dorothy and I had the privilege of speaking with our brothers and sisters in Mississauga. We shared from Ephesians 6:10–20 on the topic of the Armor of God, and I would like to share what the Lord impressed upon me:
1. Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.
This serves as a reminder that my strength as a soldier for the Lord does not come from my own abilities, but from what Jesus Christ accomplished at the cross. We go into battle from a place of victory, not for victory.
2. Put on the whole armor of God.
It would be unwise to face daily life without being fully protected. I encourage you to read Ephesians 6:10–20 to understand all the pieces of armor available to you.
3. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood.
We live in both the natural and the supernatural worlds. As soldiers of Christ, we have access to God’s supernatural love and power to navigate every circumstance we face.
Are you ready to increase your faith and face each day with grace and truth? Put on the whole armor of God and put on Christ.
Grace upon grace,
Jerry & Dorothy
