Praise God for an amazing report of God’s provision and guidance at our 2025 AGM. God is so good. He has entrusted us and blessed us with more than we could have ever imagined. In a year where the world’s economy was shaken (I personally felt an ~30% decrease in revenues), the Lifespring family posted a $141,000 surplus! A surplus that, through prayer and seeking to hear the Lord, we felt the Lord guide us to sow in its entirety.
WOW. We are truly blessed to be a blessing.
As I was praising God, the Lord gave me a loving reminder. I felt the Lord put in my spirit the words, “never forget”. Lifespring is not made of perfect people – we are made of tremendously flawed, broken, and hurt people, BUT also saved, redeemed, and rescued people. He entrusts us, not because we earned it, but only because of His great love and grace. The secret to thriving in the Lifespring family is to be unworthy. Because of this we praise the Father, seek His face, and receive His amazing love. We overflow immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine.
We are not professional Christians. We are simply on a journey in loving God and loving others. And I don’t know about you, but I love Lifespring. There is life and there is relationship. Be so happy and proud (good proud) of your journey with the Lord – what an amazing journey it has been.
Celebrate this journey but be careful to not look down on others. Be patient. It is easy to become judgmental when things are going well and when others are struggling. Let’s be real – many churches are struggling and I am sure you know many of your own friends who are struggling or have given up in the faith. Don’t look down on them – but look to God for them.
Never forget the amazing grace we have experienced over our Lifespring family and our own lives. Let us look out to a world of pain, not with judgment, but with compassion. Let the pain and struggle around us drive us to pray and plead for the mercy of God for others.
